JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to Sales Manager Benelux, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Singapore Airlines sales representation and business development in Belgium and Luxembourg in close coordination with the BeNeLux Sales team. The aspirant is accountable for delivering revenue and market share growth across relevant segments and ensures long-term cooperations with business and alliance partners are maintained. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in a team under Sales Manager BeNeLux to oversee the Singapore Airlines account portfolio (agency, corporate, leisure) in close coordination with the BeNeLux Sales team.
  • Thoroughly understands the needs of assigned accounts and develops strategies to grow relevant accounts in line with business objectives.
  • Identifies growth opportunities through the active use of data and market intelligence tools.
  • In liaison with Sales Manager BeNeLux initiates market specific campaigns to establish and broaden the Singapore Airline footprint in the market.
  • Liaises with BeNeLux Sales team on corporate RFPs, MBAs, corporate initiatives.  
  • Liaises with KAM Corporate BeNeLux on JV activities.
  • Builds strong relationships with both Corporate Travel Managers and agents.
  • Is a key source of market intelligence and brand ambassador for Singapore Airlines in BeLux.
  • Represents Singapore Airlines at industry events, trade shows, fairs, etc.

RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Command of Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent command of Dutch, French and English
  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in the airline/ travel industry.
  • Able to travel to Singapore Airlines BeNeLux office at Schiphol Airport on a bi-monthly basis

Aanbod

This is a full-time position, which will be home-office based in Belgium. It offers the possibility to use the future SIA airport office at Brussels Airport as and when required.
